About The Clinic

Peterborough Acupuncture and Wellness Clinic  was set up in 2010 and offers Acupuncture and additional therapies to clients in Peterborough and the surrounding areas, including Stamford, The Deepings, Bourne and Spalding. The Clinic is based at; The Deepings Community Centre, Douglas Road, Market Deeping, Peterborough, PE6 8PA.

Acupuncture is an effective form of alternative therapy that helps to alleviate many types of debilitating conditions and symptoms including Stress, Anxiety, Chronic and Acute Pain Conditions, Hormonal Imbalances, Unexplained Infertility, Menopausal Symptoms, Headaches, Migraines, Fatigue, Insomnia and Sleep Disturbances, Depression, Digestive Complaints and much more.

Qualifications

Amy graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2010 with an Honours Degree in Acupuncture.
She also holds a Certificate of Higher Education in Health and Fitness from the University of Luton, and a Certificate in Biomedicine from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.

Further Training

Amy is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) which is the Registering body for Professional Acupuncturists.
She has also received post-graduate training in Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture and is a fully certified member of ‘Cosmetic Acupuncture UK’.
Post-graduate training has also been achieved from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in the treatment of Acupuncture for Stress and Anxiety, Cupping Therapy, and Women’s Health.
Previous to graduating as an Acupuncturist Amy has 12 years experience working in the NHS as a Rehabilitation Instructor.
